  • Adobe GoLive 5.0
    Adobe GoLive is a new name of GoLive CyberStudio. Yes, Adobe bought this software and launched its 4.0 version. The current version is 5.0.
    Never try this tool, but I'm sure Adobe and Mac users will love it. There's also a Windows version.
  • Claris Home Page 3.0
    The program focus mainly on single pages rather than sites and intend for beginner. It supports image map creations and transparent GIF files. It also offers FileMaker Pro 4.0 Database Connection (new in 3.0 version.)
  • Corel WEB.DESIGNER
    Corel WEB DESIGNER is a powerful Web authoring program offering pre-designed templates and thousands of Internet-ready clipart images.   • FrontPage 2000
    There are a lot of improvement in this version. There is no longer a separate set of "Editor" and "Explorer" tools. The program also no longer insert the unwanted HTML tags.
    This version of Microsoft FrontPage can automatically check your spelling as you type just like what you'll find in MS Word. There's also wizard (downloadable from MS site) that can write ASP codes for your database-driven web site. Apparently, Microsoft have done a good job this time.
  • HotMetal Pro 6.0
    HotMetal Pro has been in the Market for a long time before some popular tools like MS FrontPage. It was the first tool that I bought for myself back in 1996. Overall, it's OK but I didn't like it much. I've never really use it.
    Version 6.0 have a lot of new features and improvements.
  • Netobjects Fusion

  • Netscape Composer
    This tool is recommended for beginners. It's free and it's easy-to-use. This is a tool that has been around for a long time. Thanks to Netscape for creating Netscape Navigator Gold 3.0. That's the first time people can create WYSIWYG editor. The Composer is still included with the current version of Netscape Communicator.
